Alternative vaccine schedules mean fewer students fully immunized

inewsource in San Diego today reports that "a trend toward giving children fewer shots at one time, combined with continued skepticism about vaccines’ safety, means more kindergarteners than ever in San Diego County were not fully immunized when they started school last year." inewsource analyzed data from the California Department of Public Health and found that nearly 90 percent of the county's schools had kindergarten classes with at least one student whose vaccines were not up to date. An interactive map allows for searching by address or school, turning up the numbers and percentages  for up-to-date students, conditional exemptions and personal belief exemptions for each school.
