Candidacy Statement
For the past year, I’ve served as the chair of IRE’s Contest Committee. It’s always an honor to judge the work of our members and now — more than ever — we need to champion the hard work of our membership as our industry faces unprecedented attacks. During my time as chair, I’ve ensured our judges represent IRE’s mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion on all fronts. Additionally, I’ve supported committee members’ desire to streamline the contest and make it better for all involved. That’s why I’m running for the Contest Committee again—there’s still work to do and I believe I’m up to the task.
