Elevate your investigative and data skills by joining IRE for a day and a half of professional development training at Arizona State University on October 20 and 21, 2023.
This workshop will have something for everyone — whether you're a reporter, student, editor, educator, producer, freelancer or all of the above and then some — you'll be guaranteed a plethora of new tips, tricks, and skills for your tool belt, ideas for your next story and connections with some of the top investigative and data journalists in the country.
And you’ve got options! Join us on Friday morning to learn the power of spreadsheets, all day Saturday to hear from award-winning investigative and data journalists, or both days to give your career the ultimate boost. A current IRE membership is required to attend any portion of the workshop.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20 (half-day of spreadsheets training) and from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 21.
