It’s the #1 topic instructors field in IRE’s “Managing Investigators” master class: how to have those tough conversations with journalists built to challenge authority. So, we decided to dedicate an entire hour-long webinar to this topic for some extra, hyper-focused attention. If you’re a supervisor preparing for annual employee reviews, mulling over a sensitive one-on-one with an investigative journalist or struggling to find meaningful ways to help that person improve and grow – this session is for you! Panelists will share their best tips and experience for navigating stressful moments with your team, managing challenging chats, setting goals, delivering feedback and receiving pitches openly. This management webinar series will continue into the spring and is open to any IRE member – especially those currently or aspiring to lead investigators. You may submit questions anonymously to this form before the event, or speak directly during the live event to panelists.
