Lauren Grandestaff is the Director of Programming and the Eugene S. Pulliam research director for IRE. She coordinates sessions and speakers for IRE's events including our two national conference. Lauren also coordinates the collection, indexing and archiving of research materials within the IRE Resource Center. In her role, she assists members in research and backgrounding. Lauren also coordinates the processing of the entries in the two annual IRE awards programs. Before joining IRE, she worked at both the Missouri School of Journalism library and the Columbia Missourian library. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology with an emphasis on queer theory and social inequalities and a master’s degree in library science with an emphasis on the inequalities surrounding access to information from the University of Missouri.
