When WSAZ received a Silver Alert about a 70-year-old man with documented dementia missing for a week from a hospital, the investigative team immediately went to work.
Sarah Sager, (Anchor/Reporter) and Kristen Bentley, (Assistant News Director) started reaching out to police and the hospital - trying to get surveillance video of the man, Charles “Chuck” Carroll. The more excuses we got, the harder we fought to get the video.
