Description: This class will introduce you to R, a free open-source programming language, that adds additional power, reproducibility, and statistical heft to your data reporting. By the end of this three-hour session you should feel comfortable using R for your next project. Topics will include working with directories; installing packages; reading in data from your computer and the web; exploring data with sorting, filtering and aggregating; and creating simple visualizations. We'll also talk about how to find help when you're stuck.

Workshop prerequisites: This session will be most helpful if you're comfortable working with data and you're ready to take your skills to the next level.

Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Laptops will be provided for the training.
