A computer assisted analysis of the legal bills submitted by an attorney who represented five public clients. In a year's time, the attorney billed taxpayers for nearly $600,000, including days that didn't exist, and days that courts were closed. Experts who reviewed the bills said they were so lacking in detail that they never should have been paid.
