Description

KGO-TV found more than two dozen young men who claimed that Father Gary Timmons, a Catholic priest who founded a summer camp in California thrity year ago, had molested them. The local District Attorney decided to arrest the priest before the story aired, fearing that he would run. As a result of the series, the Catholic Church issued a public apology, and promised to be more open and aggressive in dealing with such cases. (Nov. 1 - 3, 9, 20 & Dec. 22, 1995)
