Description

The story extensively described Sao Paulo, the largest city in Brazil. Using information from 141 different data bases, the story found that 7.9 million "paulistanos" (Sao Paulo inhabitants) lived in so called "social exclusion areas"-below the poverty line. Only 4 out of the 96 districts of the city offered acceptable social living conditions to the population. (Nov. 26, 1995)
