Description

Reginald Muldrew is considered by many in American law enforcement to be the most violent and prolific rapist in American history. He is connected to some three rapes in southern California. He was convicted and sentenced to life in prison of the rapes of four women. After serving only 16 years of his sentence, Muldrew was released from prison in 1995 because of changes in sentencing guidelines. Muldrew was considered a sexual predator who had failed all psychiatric tests by officials. Shortly after being released, Muldrew was able to vanish from the watch of police. KCBS investigates and finds that Muldrew was living right under the eyes of law enforcement. He is once again being tried for two alleged crimes - including sexual assault. (April 29, May 17, 1996)
