Description

The New Times investigates how the city of Scottsdale served approximately 70,000 residents drinking water laced with illegal amounts of a suspected carcinogen but failed to notify regulators or the public, as required by law. The drinking water in question came from a plant designed and paid for by Motorola and other electronics firms, all suspected polluters of Scottsdale's underground drinking water reserves, as part of a Superfund cleanup plan.
