There are loopholes in federal laws that may be responsible for killing, injuring or losing approzimately 5,000 pets a year when they travel in the cargo hold of planes. Every major airline has been accused of violating the Animal Welfare Act. Reporters exposed the lack of regulations and talked with people whose pets have died.
