Searching through bank dumpsters for private customer information, reporters jumped into many bank dumpsters to see if the banks are throwing away customer's bank information without shredding it. Major findings were that most banks threw away personal information without shredding it. Reporters found account numbers, balances, social security numbers, signatures, names, etc. unshredded in bank dumpsters.
