Cothran examines the investigation -- and the incidents which lead up to it -- of the San Francisco "Foxglove" case. The case focuses on two Gypsies, a mother and daughter, who would marry and then try to poison many elderly people. Cothran reviewed paperwork connected to the San Francisco Police Department's work on the case and found many flaws in the way in which the investigation was run.
