Description

A a white couple learns the bias against interracial adoption after trying to adopt a brother and sister who had been in their foster care for years. The Multi-Ethnic Placement Act outlaws matching races in adoption. About half of the 500,000 kids in foster care are of African American heritage, and studies show minorities spend twice as long in foster care as caucasian children.
