An investigation by the National Law Journal reveals that judges serving in many Arkansas counties have stock in Wal-Mart and continue to try cases where the company is one of the named parties. This apparent conflict of interest -- which is especially prevalent in the Wal-Mart's hometown of Benton -- has lead many to wonder if anyone can get a fair ruling against the company in northwest Arkansas.
