Maryland General Assembly members fail to disclose conflicts of interests, both in respect to relationships with lobbyists and other conflicts of interest. A CNS review of public ethics filings by the 188 members of the assembly found only 32 lawmakers filed conflict-of-interest forms on 2,300 pieces of legislation, 901 of which were passed into law.
