Columbus Monthly tells the story of Mary Lapos-Altmiller, "a well-liked Westerville librarian, a wife, a mother, benefactor to stray cats," who walked out on her life to marry her long-ago childhood sweetheart, Clee Ridenour. The story details how the "attempts to revive a first love ... turned into a full-blown domestic violence," and ended up with Ridenour being charged with the murder of his wife. The report reveals that Rigenour could face only a life sentence.
