Description

More and more, companies are enacting their own punishment on stock analysts who give them less-than-complimentary write-ups. This punishment can take on many forms, including, but not limited to being excluded from meetings, outings and conference calls with top company executives, being bounced from trading and underwriting deals for a period of time and being publicly belittled. In some cases, the companies even have tried to get the analysts fired.
