Houser reports that the use of medications to combat hyperactivity disorders in children are on the rise. But he raises the question of whether or not medication is just a quick solution to a larger underlying problem. Houser uses statistics and studies to support that the idea that in the United States, hyperactivity disorder is over-diagnosed.
