Description

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution investigated lending and borrowing laws and practices in Georgia and found that the state continually stood out for their harsh laws against borrowers. Among the findings from the four-part series were that "only two other states allow lenders to foreclose on a house as fast as Georgia," that lenders in Georgia can charge five times the state's legal limit when giving loans, and that Georgia is one of the most expensive states to borrow money.
