When a Minneapolis police officer was shot by a fellow officer with a submachine gun, no one was charged and nothing was said by the department about the incident. A four month investigation by KSTP-TV uncovered critical information (video taped interviews and statement of the officers involved) about the case. As a result, new chief was sworn in, also suspending three officers involved in investigating the case.
