Fort Worth Star-Telegram explores the situation in which a Missouri-Pacific Railroad switchman, previous year's recipient of a safety award, was diagnosed by the company psychiatrist as "overly safety conscious" and then fired because of his attempts to correct the company's practice on mishandling train cars loaded with hazardous materials, November 1978.
