Reporter Alison Bath discovered that automatic weapons had been delivered to the Caddo parish court house covertly for use by the District Attorney's office. The local sheriff contended that the District Attorney's office had inappropriately obtained the guns without his knowledge or permission as required by state law. Through a series of stories, Bath was able to show readers how and why the guns were obtained and that the District Attorney's office had lied to get them.
