San Francisco Chronicle recounts how insurance companies are attempting to limit their risk by drastically increasing premiums, refusing to pay claims, blacklisting groups and entire occupations or simply cancelling groups with high medical bills; the most vulnerable groups are the nation's cancer and AIDS victims and diabetics, but others with relatively minor illnesses may also find they cannot receive coverage, Feb. 26, 1990.
