Description

The Times investigates allegations that people on state aid in the North Township are paying substantially more for medicine at pharmacies. Vouchers are given to people who qualify, but are only good at select pharmacies. While Medicaid and insurance companies commonly obtain bargain drug prices, North Township pays more. Poor people and taxpayers take the hit. (July 30, 1995)
