Where can I buy a ticket?

Once you've registered for the conference, you can purchase tickets here. 

Will I get a physical ticket?

No. The week of the conference, you'll get an email with details and a QR code to scan as you board.

Is it one QR code per person, or one per purchase?

One QR code per person.

Can I buy a ticket for a guest?

As long as you're registered for the conference, you may purchase as many guest tickets as you like. 

Where do I go to get on the boat?

At 400 Toulouse St, a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Look for the Gray Line "Lighthouse" ticket office behind JAX Brewery. IRE will not provide transportation to the boat.

When should I arrive?

Between 6 and 7 p.m. The boat departs promptly at 7 p.m.

What time does the boat return?

Around 9 p.m.

I can no longer go on the riverboat cruise. Can I get a refund?

As noted at the time of purchase, we cannot refund your money. (IRE has already paid the riverboat company for your ticket, and the company doesn't give refunds.) Once the cruise is sold out, anyone who wants a ticket can fill out the IRE Riverboat Buy/Sell Form, where folks interested in buying tickets can connect with folks who are selling.

In what situations would the Riverboat company refund our money?

If landfall of a hurricane is expected and the City of New Orleans is evacuated.

What if it's raining?

The boat will still cruise. The decks are covered. However, If weather conditions are so bad that the Coast Guard closes the Mississippi River and the boat cannot cruise, the party would go on as a dockside event.

Is there an open bar?

Yes.

Will they have non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes.

Will they have gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and lactose-friendly food options?

Yes.
