With suspected nudging from U.S. Senator Rod Grams, R-Minn., a county sheriff's department near Minneapolis gave preferential treatment to the senator's college-aged son, Morgan Grams, who was stopped in an overdue rented car, caught driving without a license and in possession of marijuana and open containers of alcohol, but never charged with any crime or misdemeanor.
