How do I register for NICAR23?

First, make sure you have a current IRE membership through April 1, 2023. You can do that by logging into your account on the website and going to Manage Memberships in your Member Dashboard.

  • If you have a current membership, you will see a green ‘Yes’ in the Active column.
  • If your membership has expired, click the ‘Subscribe’ button to go through the renewal process. (Note: If your membership expired before Dec. 1, 2020, you will not be able to log in to the website. Please create a new account on our website by filling out the Join form.)

How do I keep up with all the news about NICAR23?

Sign up here to receive email newsletters with all the latest NICAR23 announcements about registration, sessions, Lightning Talks, the T-shirt contest, and more!

Will NICAR23 have a virtual option?

NICAR23 will not include virtual sessions. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience and we have found, based on attendee feedback, that a hybrid event does not meet the highest level of standards that IRE members have come to expect. We instead have significantly bolstered our affordable and accessible virtual training opportunities scheduled throughout the year, including the all-virtual Access Fest conference in the fall of 2023. We’d love to hear from you on what else you’d like to see. Fill this form out any time you have an idea for an event.

What is IRE Access Fest?

Access Fest is an expansion of the DBEI Symposiums that were held in October of 2021 and 2022. We'll offer programming focused on diversity, belonging, equity and inclusion, and provide trainings that you would see at a typical IRE or NICAR Conference. Access Fest will be held in October 2023 - details coming soon!
